Recently, the water conservancy and municipal construction project of Wanzhou Yangtze River four bridge water level fluctuating zone is being promoted comprehensively,the project includes embankment expansion, landslide treatment, road construction, landscape greening, etc. During the renovation construction of 3707 meters long embankment expansion, the soft foundation treatment was carried out in the soft soil section with an area of 120000 square meters.
Vibroflotation Stone Column technique be used to treat soft foundation is the control engineering in the whole project. The stone column piles with average spacing of 1.5m, diameter of 1m and depth of 5-30m can effectively improve the bearing capacity of foundation and lay a solid foundation for the construction of embankment.

In view of the sliding problem of vibroflotation construction platform, the method of riprap foot protection and pressing foot is adopted to stabilize the construction platform. The mud pump and mud pipe are used to pump the mud produced by vibroflotation into the mud pit, effectively prevent the mud from flowing out, and at the same time, the mud is centrally treated to meet the requirements of environmental protection.
