From September 4, 2020 to September 7, 2020, the 10th deep foundation engineering development forum was held in Shungeng International Convention and Exhibition Center, Jinan, Shandong Province. Victor Lu, deputy general manager of BVEM, was invited to attend the forum.

 

Profile of Victor Lu:

He has a bachelor's degree in hydropower construction from the Department of water conservancy and Hydropower Engineering of Tsinghua University, and a master of Business Administration of Renmin University of China. In 1995, he began to work in Beijing Vibroflotation Engineering Co., Ltd. He is now working in Beijing Vibroflotation Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of BVEC, and serves as the executive deputy general manager of the company. He has been engaged in technical seminar and case sharing of vibroflotation method in more than 40 design institutes and construction companies in China. He is also the main participant and promoter of bottom feed vibroflotation theory research, equipment development and construction technology.

 

The development forum of deep foundation engineering (afdf) is jointly sponsored by the deep foundation and underground space engineering branch of China Construction Industry Association, pile machinery branch of China Construction Machinery Society and soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering branch of China Civil Engineering Society. It has been successively held in 2011 (Weihai), 2012 (Chongqing), 2013 (Xi'an), 2014 (Guangzhou), 2015 (Hangzhou), 2016 (Beijing) and 2017 (Xiamen), 2018 (Nanchang) and 2019 (Wuxi) were successfully held. After nine years of continuous exchanges, six distinctive features have been formed, including focusing on industry development, exploring cutting-edge technology, communicating industry information, guiding resource cooperation, promoting talent exchange, and Expo product trading. It has become the leading exchange platform, resource platform and cooperation platform in the industry.
